SPC Flooring Introduction
SPC stands for stone-plastic composite or stone-polymer composite.
Both of these terms are used interchangeably. SPC is also referred
to as rigid core flooring. That’s because the mixture of limestone
powder and stabilizers in the core is ultra-dense and incredibly
rigid. This core makes SPC vinyl more stable in a larger
temperature range, so there is no expansion and contraction
involved.
